That's right, another year, another cake.

Unfortunately, we couldn't get a cake in time for the actual day - that'd make far too much sense! We'll get you a picture of a cake in a few days though, don't panic.

In the meantime, I'll be consoling my lack-of-cake woes by pretending to myself that the fireworks going off outside are for us, not some bloke on a bonfire.

Atlantis will be rebooted into a new kernel at 22:25 BST (UTC+0100) tonight (Monday 15th September 2008).

This operation is not expected to interrupt service to customers for longer than 5 minutes.

It appears some people who have too much free time on their hands are attempting to DDoS our billing and support server.

In order to prevent this bringing the server down we have switched the web server to listen on port 8080 instead of the usual 80 - SSL is listening on the usual 443. This means you will be able to access the billing and support area here: http://my.ecwhost.com:8080/ and will be redirected to the normal SSL links as appropriate.

This is just a temporary measure while we work to block this attack.

Just an announcement to inform you that the IP adress of ns2.ecwhost.com is changing on the 11th June 2008.

NS2's IP address will change from 91.186.21.88 to 92.48.88.209.

This change should take effect seamlessly and without any disruption or change to service.
